Last 2nd September 2010 Informa D&B joined UN Global Compact (www.pactomundial.org), an freely joining ethic commitment initiative for companies of all countries to accept as an integral part of their strategy and operations, ten conduct and action principles in the following fields: Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption fight. Its aim is promoting the creation of a global corporate citizenship, allowing the conciliation of the interests and processes of the business activity with the values and demands of the civil society, Informa D&B is firmly committed with this initiative, introducing the ten principles as well on its strategic vision as on its daily activities.
INFORMA D&B participates actively in the development of XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language), being a founding member of the Association XBRL Spain. The Association is the partner in Spain of XBRL International, an organization formed by individuals and public and private organizations, that aims to the promotion and implementation of the XBRL standard for online information management.

It came into being in 1999, when the Asociación Española de Distribuidores de Información Electrónica (ASEDIE), founded in 1992, the Asociación de Empresas de Información Comercial (ASEICO), founded in 1982 and the Grupo Empresarial de Información Comercial INFORESPAÑA, founded in 1997, joined forces.

The origins of these associations go back to 25 years ago and all of them have come together with the birth and progress of digital revolution.

Credit Managers Association
AGG is one of the doyens associations of the financial scope.
It was born when a group of professionals and directors of Credito y Riesgos managers with allied concerns that had assisted to one of the first seminars celebrated in Spain about the functions and the figure of Credit Manager decided to constitute a professional association in the image and likeness of Credit Managers association that already exist in Europe, some constituted already several decades ago. So, AGC is a Professional Association of state companies and non profit that was funded in Barcelona in 1979.
FEBIS (Federation of Business Information Services).
International Federation that groups the most part of business and credit information suppliers . FEBIS was created in 1973 and currently has more than 70 members throughout the world. Its group data are the following: 21.000 employees, 181 millions generated reports per year, 600,000 clients and aggregated sales (exclusively business information) that surpass 2,600 million euros.
