INFORMA D&B’s database has always drawn on multiple public and private information sources, such as the official companies Spanish registry gazette (BORME), officially filed company accounts, the Spanish official journal (BOE), provincial and regional official journals, the national and regional media, ad hoc research and sundry publications.
INFORMA D&B was also the first European company to supply commercial and financial information over the internet (15/9/96). It was also the first company to process data from the BORME journal, to offer a director links product, to introduce free active business monitoring and, more recently, in 2000, it was the first Spanish commercial and financial information database to achieve AENOR , updated at present to the standard ISO 9001.
