This month we would like to announce a new release. From the 4th of July you would be able to consult on the Financial Information of the companies that deposit its accounts according to the New General Accounting Plan, accessing our Business Information Reports button.
Once again INFORMA D&B gets ahead of the companies in its sector, being the first company to adapt its uploading processes and information treatment to PGC2007.
§ What companies does this change affect?
The new legislation affects all companies whose accounting exercises began on January, 1 2008 or later.
§ Which are the main legislative changes?
As the main novelty, we would like to stand out the inclusion of two new financial states. To the new two current ones, the Balance Sheets and the Profit and Loss Accounts, we have added two new states, the Net Worth Changes Status and the Cash Flow Status.
§ Which are the main news and solutions that INFORMA D&B offer you?
ü Accounts conversion, INFORMA D&B has developed a proper conversion system that permits to transform accounts between both plans.
Thanks to it, you would be able to consult on the accounts of both consecutive years under the same formulation (PGC2007), which would permit you not to lose sight of the financial analysis offered of different magnitudes and of all historic series.
Moreover, INFORMA D&B has developed a series of notices that would inform you about the uncertainty that may be derived from these conversions, such as changes on the valuation or the impossibility of obtaining all the necessary information of the financial states to carry an exact conversion.
When these exist, a notice of the corresponding item and a box with an explicative text would be shown at the end of the large capital amounts to which it belongs.
ü Improvements on the ratios, derived from the changes on the Accounting Plan, INFORMA D&B has carried a deep study of the ratios and has proceeded to create eight new ratios, to adapt the existing ones and to remove those that have lost its analysis potential as a consequence of the new Plan, in order to constitute a compact and useful block for the financial analysis.
ü Revised Financial Analysis, INFORMA D&B has revised and adapted its Financial Analysis to the new reality, counting on with the totality of the financial states, an the analytical account that has been revised to be adapted to the new PGC2007 and some graphics that have been reformulated.
This change does not mean forgetting about what the last 20 years of financial information have been under the PGC90 rules, so you would be able to keep on consulting all the information that we have available in our Data Bases, in the Reports and in the Modular Products.
Moreover, as long as there is financial information formulated under PGC2007 in a Report, you would be able to access freely to all the links that contain historical information.
